I was on the entire tour. That was the only show I didn’t DJ for Awol One and Circus. They had some homie named Dj Hockey Fighter for hands or something like that from Winnipeg or surrounding area. I did DJ for Busdriver and Ayentee that night. I have lots of photos from that show.

They did that joke every show. It is from a song that I am drawing a blank on right now of theirs.

Yeah Ayentee was really cool to get to know. I love how honest and relatable his music is.

Yo, were you on that entire tour with Awol One, Circus, Busdriver and Ayentee? If so, we missed out on meeting each other! I was at the Winnipeg date which was in an old CIBC building (it's now the home of APTN). One of the highlights of that show was the joke Circus and Awol told on stage:

"Yo, what did the wack MC say to the other wack MC?"

"I dunno."

"I don't know either, but I bet it was wack."

It was SO dumb, but it still makes me laugh. In retrospect, it was dumb and genius at the same time.

I listen to Ayentee a lot nowadays. His My Retirement Plan Is Death album is sadly quite relatable.
